The Department of Taxes and Taxation prepares specialists and bachelors for the country's tax system. The department provides basic knowledge in the disciplines «Microeconomics», «Macroeconomics», «Theory of taxes and taxation», «Taxes and taxation», «Taxes and taxation of foreign countries», «Management», «Tax management», «Tax accounting and reporting» and etcy.

The department employs highly qualified teachers who conduct scientific, methodological and research work. The textbook «Mathematical Models in Macroeconomics» and the textbook «Collection of Problems and Tests in Microeconomics» were published under the authorship of the teachers of the department.

Currently, the department is conducting research work on the topic «International cooperation in the field of taxation». Based on the results of a scientific topic, scientific articles are published in foreign and national publications.

Teachers and students take an active part in subject Olympiads and competitions of scientific works and projects taking place at various levels. There is a scientific circle «Young tax official» at the department. The department maintains close contact with the tax services of the etraps and cities of the countrye.
